ITV 's new show Belgravia is already proving a hit with viewers, with some even dubbing it as the new Downton Abbey. The drama stars Tamsin Greig, Harriet Walter, Alice Eve and Philip Glenister, and is set in the 1800s in London, where the upper class see their secrets revealed while conflicts rage on such as the Battle of Waterloo.
Although the show is set in London's Belgravia, logistics meant that the cast and crew weren't able to film in Belgravia itself.
Gareth Neame, the show's Executive Producer, told History Extra : "It’s quite impossible to shoot in Belgravia. It’s the heart of London, it’s filled with embassies; there’s no way you can shut down these parts of London and have horses and carriages going around for four days. "It
