mirror.co.ukJames Nesbitt has sent the nation into a frenzy with his strange Line of Duty cameo. First of all the Northern Irish actor lied about being part of the epic BBC police drama - and now it seems like his character has been killed off after a mere 70 seconds of screen time.
His face initially flashed up on a computer screen and then grainy bodycam footage of a Spanish villa raid showed his character's lifeless body on the floor.
However, armchair detectives are refusing to believe dodgy former detective Marcus Thurwell is actually dead and hope that Nesbitt will pop up in the series finale this Sunday.
The popular actor rose to fame playing ladies man Adam Williams in Cold Feet, the iconic ITV comedy-drama which first ran from 1997 to 2003.
