Cleveland Abduction is the dramatisation of Michelle Knight’s kidnapping and the 11 years she was tortured along with two other women at Ariel Castro’s house.
It is the latest true crime film that’s being talked about but it’s actually not available for free on any streaming service.
UK users who have taken to social media to talk about the film are likely using a VPN to watch the 2015 film on Netflix. Knight, the film’s lead, was first captured in August 2002 when she was on her way to her son’s custody hearing.
She got lost in the area Castro lived in and he offered her a lift in his car. This was a trap and he soon stripped Knight of all freedom followed by two other victims - Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus.
