Millions of households across the country are set to receive DWP's cost of living payment as the nation's financial woes continue.
Everyday essentials have become more and more expensive in recent years which has led to many residents struggling. Items like food, rent, energy and clothing have become a hassle to pay for not to mentioned the unplanned emergencies that life sometimes throws at us.
In attempts to ease the burden, the government introduced the cost of living payments for members of the public who are recipients of certain benefits. BirminghamLive reports that inflation has made only a slight dip to 6.7 per cent, still far from the Government target of 2 per cent.
