The government is aiming to have offered a Covid-19 jab to everyone over the age of 50, anyone over 16 who has an underlying condition that makes them clinically extremely vulnerable to coronavirus and all health and social care workers by the middle of April.
Once all nine priority groups have been offered a jab, the NHS is expected to begin phase two of the roll-out starting with all adults over the age of 40.
