Ruben Amorim is expected to remain in charge of Sporting Clube de Portugal until the November international break according to reports in Portugal - potentially delaying his move to Manchester United.
Portuguese newspaper Record report Sporting's president Frederico Varandas has imposed further conditions in order for United to complete a deal for Amorim. The Manchester Evening News understands United have now agreed a financial package with Sporting.
A clause in Amorim's contract is claimed to state that Sporting have 30 days to part ways with their coach from the moment United pay his release clause.
As a result, the 39-year-old will not be in the dugout for United's crunch Premier League clash with Chelsea on Sunday.
