Manchester City beating Bristol City to advance to the FA Cup quarter-finals throws up another fixture rescheduling headache for the Premier League in the final months of this season.
Pep Guardiola's side will welcome Vincent Kompany and Burnley back to the east side of the city in the FA Cup last eight, with the runaway Championship leaders having already faced Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup earlier this year.
The quarter-final ties will take place across the weekend of 18 March, which was when City were due to host another team who play in claret and blue, West Ham United.
That Premier League match has now had to be postponed as a result, which raises the question of when it will instead be played with City still competing across all three competitions.
