Netflix’s hit show Virgin River just returned for season six and the streaming service has already confirmed that a season seven is on the way.

Deadline has confirmed that scripts for the seventh season are currently being written and will be ready in January. The new season will begin filming in spring 2025.

Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith also revealed that season 7 likely will not be the final season. “No plans to wrap up the series anytime soon, and as long as people keep coming back for it, we’re proud and happy to keep telling these stories,” he said.
