He added that “for both of them to then be at that spot at the end definitely puts them in a new area moving into season 9, and a friendship would blossom out of that, and an understanding.” “We do see that grow, for sure,” Kevin said. Andrea also opened up about the characters’ future. “I saw those conversations [online after the episode aired],” she said in Facebook Live chat with the rest of the When Calls the Heart cast recently. “I remember when we were filming thinking that scene that people could potentially read into it.” But if it were to move into something more between Faith and Nathan, Andrea replied that she thinks it was “just a nice, tender-hearted scene between two people who’d gone through something quite similar.
They’re both mending broken hearts.” Right now, the promos shown see Nathan being potentially linked to Mei Suo. Tonight’s episode, airing at 8 p.m.
