A new wave of rail strikes will begin next week, impacting 18 train operators across the country. National Rail has warned passengers to check their entire journey before setting out on the affected dates next week.
The Rail Delivery Group (RDG), which represents train operators, said it expects 40-50% of services to run on those days but there will be “wide variations”, with some areas having no trains.
