What to Watch the Week of May 19: All the Season—and Series—Goodbyes You Shouldn't Miss, From the American Idol Finale to Tracker

American Idol finale tonight), in which nearly every broadcast show signs off for the season and some for good. (We'll miss you, The Good Doctor and .) Although Bridgerton is still fresh in our minds (and you can—and should!—read our deep-dive with ), it's time to look ahead to this week's new offerings, which include more than 15 shows ending their strike-shortened seasons.The good news is that most of these shows will return with new episodes in the fall—or midseason—but it's the end of the road for The Good Doctor as well as as a judge on American Idol. (Though to be honest, is anything ever permanent on Idol?)A decade or so ago, this week would kick off months of summer reruns, but thanks to streaming and cable, the summer TV slate is busier than ever.

The Bear returns next month, as does new episodes of Bridgerton and a new season of House of the Dragon. And let's not forget starring Jenn Tran, which will premiere in July.Also, in case you're wondering, the season finales of 9-1-1 and Grey's Anatomy will air next week as well as the series finale of Station 19.In the meantime, check out everything signing off this week and have a safe and restful start to the Memorial Day weekend.
