Emily in Paris season 4 finally premieres on Netflix this week. Unlike seasons past, this one will be split into two parts, with the first five episodes dropping this Thursday and the second half coming mid-September.
While that will make for a fast binge—especially since the first five episodes are about 35 minutes each—there's a lot packed into the first half.
And naturally, a cliffhanger ending that will leave you on edge until part two.Personally, I recommend rewatching season 3 first—or if nothing else, —to get you caught up.
Aside from the revelation that Camille is pregnant with Gabriel's baby, and that Gabriel has always been in love with Emily, there are a lot of subplots you most likely won't remember. (After all, season 3 premiered in late December 2022.) Without giving too much away, the first episode of Emily in Paris season 4 picks up with a slight time jump but revisits everything from the season 3 finale.Needless to say, Alfie is in pain emotionally and physically following that season 3 finale.While Emily, Gabriel, Camille, and Alfie's (because how could they not be?), Sylvie is forced to confront a sticky dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage.
