The MTV EMAs are to be held in Manchester for the first time in its 30-year history as a host of celebrities and music superstars descend on the city.

This year’s European Music Awards, now hailed as one of the most watched TV broadcasts across Europe outside of Eurovision, will take place at the city’s newest music venue Co-op Live in Eastlands on Sunday evening (November 10) with a glittering line-up.

Hosted by pop star Rita Ora, the event will feature performances from the likes of Raye, Pet Shop Boys, Shawn Mendes, Benson Boone and Tyla, with a number of other stars set to watch the event after walking the lavish red carpet. Closely behind her, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter have all received five nominations each. As always, there are going to be a number of ways in which fans can watch the show to catch the performances as they happen and to find out if their favourite artists have won.
