And on Tuesday evening, as the bash took place at London's 02 Arena some moments were muffled with white noise as the show aired on ITV.

As the famous faces nurse their hangovers, here is a look at what was really said during the muted moments that happened at the 2021 edition of the music award ceremony.

Lewis Capaldi's was silenced during the show when he decided to blurt out a string of sweary words. Lewis showcased his vocabulary of foul-mouthed language as he took to the stage to give out an award to Dua Lipa.
