Ralf Rangnick will be hit by the "privilege and responsibility" that comes with managing Manchester United as soon as he walks through the doors at Old Trafford for the first time.
Michael Carrick has only done the job for one game so far and his caretaker stint could end after today's trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea, but it didn't take him long to realise how prestigious the role was.
The 40-year-old took the reins after the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last weekend and steered United to a 2-0 win against Villarreal on Tuesday night.
But German coach Rangnick is set to come in as interim boss until the end of the season, before taking up a two-year consultancy role at Old Trafford.
