After 10 chaotic hours, Oasis fans who weren't lucky enough to get tickets for the reunion tour were finally put out of their misery.

The band declared on social media at 7pm that tickets for their 17 shows in UK and Ireland had sold out. It followed fans waiting in online queues for hours only to find ticket websites had crashed while those who got through found prices had more than doubled.

Ticketmaster denied claims that it website crashed and defended the 'dynamic pricing' which inflated ticket costs to more than £350 each saying that it does not set the prices.

Meanwhile, Oasis warned fans against buying or selling tickets on unofficial resale websites.
