Vicky Phelan is due to return to Ireland later in July after spending six months in America to undergo experimental cancer treatment.
She has been keeping her followers updated with how she has been coping away from her family for the majority of the year and her excitement to come home is building.
She is now able to return home due to the lengthy gaps between her treatments and Vicky admitted that she is like ‘a child waiting for Santa’ as she prepares to be reunited with her children, Amelia and Darragh.
She recently admitted that she didn’t think that it would be a full six months before she saw her children again. ‘There’ll be tears.
