It is just about time for Dundee United to kick-off their European adventure. Jack Ross' side welcome AK Alkmaar to Tannadice on Thursday in the first leg of the Europa Conference League third qualifying round as they hope to secure their place in a European competition for the first time in a decade.
The Tayside outfit welcome the Dutch side before travelling for the second leg next week. And with Jamie McGrath joining a number of new recruits just in time for the clash, Dundee United will be a lot better equipped as they hope to kick-off their European journey with a bang.
It wasn't the perfect start for Jack Ross' men in the cinch Premiership who shared the points with newly promoted Kilmarnock at the weekend.
But there will hopefully be more for Tangerines to cheer about on Thursday as they look to book a playoff round date with either Gil Vicente or Riga.
