Britney Spears wrote about so many celebrities in her memoir The Woman in Me, including her pop peer (and sometimes rival in the press) Christina Aguilera.

The pop stars’ can trace their relationship back to before their mainstream breakouts in the late ’90s. In fact, they shared one of their first brushes with fame on the set of the Mickey Mouse Club.

After dropping “…Baby One More Time” and “Genie in a Bottle,” Britney and Christina were the certified princesses of pop music through the early ’00s and beyond.

As such, the media often pitted them against each other. Reports about a feud between the women have popped up all the way through 2023.
