North Sea.Joseph Lacaste was working on the Copious trawler in the early hours of Thursday morning when he plunged into the water.Emergency services, including a Coastguard helicopter, raced to the scene around 30 miles southeast of Shetland but the 45-year-old could not be saved.His body was pulled from the water a short time later and flown to a hospital in Lerwick.Heartbroken pals have rallied around his family, who live in the Philippines, as they raise funds to support his wife and his two children.Kind-hearted friend Robie Johnson said: “My friend Joseph (a fisherman) died yesterday morning (18/2/21) while at work in the North Sea.“He left his beautiful family behind and now they need some financial support.
