The government has promised a cool £1billion for schools to help children left behind by coronavirus. The growing crisis in education has seen millions of kids unable to attend classes since the unprecedented Covid-19 lockdown in March.
A report by University College London found two million children have done less than an hour a day of schoolwork during the lockdown.
