A man arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenager was shot dead during a suspected burglary at a farm in the High Peak has been released on bail.
Marcus Smith, 19, was found with fatal gunshot wounds after police were called to a report of a break-in at the farm on Eccles Road near Whaley Bridge at around 1.20am in the early hours of Wednesday (May 1).
Another teenager was found with a gunshot wound nearby. He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. He was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
