The strong contingent of West Lothian bands due to play at the Gig in the Goil festival were delighted to hear the festival is going ahead.The weekender at Gig at the Goil in Lochgoilhead will now be an online event and will play host to almost 40 live acts from across the country from May 1-3.The event is called ‘The Virtual G,’ and acts will perform from midday until midnight on the Gig in the Goil Facebook page, with the festival promising ‘backstage footage’, highlights, interviews, and cocktail recipes on their Twitter & Instagram across the weekend.The West Lothian Courier revealed last month how local acts Black Dog Days, Fraser McLean, Luke La Volpe, Mark Sharp & the Bicycle Thieves and Megan Black would all be playing at Gig in the
