West Ham United manager David Moyes has revealed defender Kurt Zouma will be sidelined for "a few weeks" as they prepare to face Manchester City on Wednesday night.
Zouma went off injured in the Hammers' 4-3 loss to Crystal Palace at the weekend, with the French centre-back suffering an ankle ligament injury as he attempted to block a shot from Jordan Ayew.
The away side took the lead at Selhurst Park, but ultimately ended up on the wrong end of a thrilling encounter. The 28-year-old was seen leaving the game on Saturday in a protective boot, and while Moyes admitted the club were still assessing the player, he suggested he was likely to be out for a number of weeks.
