Wendy Williams Hunter (born Wendy Joan Williams; July 18, 1964) is an American television host, businesswoman, media personality and author. Since 2008, she has hosted the nationally syndicated television talk show The Wendy Williams Show. Prior to television, Williams was a radio DJ and host and quickly became known in New York as a "shock jockette". She gained notoriety for her on-air spats with celebrities and was the subject of the 2006 VH1 reality TV series The Wendy Williams Experience which broadcast events surrounding her radio show. She was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2009.

Wendy Williams is sharing an update about her life. The 57-year-old talk show host made an appearance on Fat Joe‘s Instagram Live over the weekend, where she opened up about her financial situation and discussed how she feels about Sherri Shepherd taking over her timeslot. I love you two [Remy Ma], or just her or just you.” When asked if she has plans to return to the show, Wendy told the rapper “absolutely.” As for whether she thought she’d watch Sherri‘s daytime talk show, Sherri, Wendy said she wouldn’t be tuning in. “I like her, but I won’t be watching her because I know what she’s going to be doing and that’s really not my thing,” she said. “Anyway, but I love being on my own show and I love that people love to watch it all the time.” Wendy also spoke out about her currently financial situation, claiming she only had two dollars to her name. “I know what kind of money I have,” she said. “Unfortunately, I only have two dollars and nothing else.

Everything is frozen and some people are involved with this and so that’s what I’m doing right now.” A few months ago, it was reported that Wendy‘s finances had been frozen after her bank said they had reason to believe she was “the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation.” Wendy added that as a result of her accounts being frozen, her son’s money was also frozen, meaning she hasn’t been able to take care of her family.
