Squid Game and Stranger Things 4 remain the only two other programs to have achieved this distinction. It does appear unlikely that Wednesday will beat Stranger Things 4 in the English-language TV show ranking with Wednesday needing some catching up to meet the sci-fi series.
Stranger Things 4 also runs over the course of 13 hours, while Wednesday clocks in at a total of 6.8 hours.Wednesday, however, has been watched by more households than Stranger Things in its first 28 days.
