Netflix hit Wednesday has officially been renewed for a second season - after becoming one of the most successful shows ever on the streaming platform.

The spin-off about the Addams Family focuses on the gothic teenager Wednesday, played by Jenna Ortega, as she moves into boarding school Nevermore Academy.

In an interview with Tudum.com on Friday, Creators/Showrunners/Executive Producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar said: 'It's been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world. 'Thrilled to continue Wednesday's tortuous journey into season two.' A hit!
