A 20-year-old man was killed after being hit by an Audi at a 'car meet', police have said. Sam Harding, from Stockport, died following the crash in Warrington on Sunday night.
He was taken Warrington District General hospital, but sadly pronounced dead a short time later. The driver of the black Audi S3, a 21-year-old man from Morley, Leeds, was uninjured.
He was arrested at the scene on suspicion causing death by dangerous driving. They said: "Our beautiful son was tragically taken away from us on Sunday, April 10, 2022. A much loved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to many.
