Love Island is due to return to our screens this summer after an almost 18-month hiatus, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a little bit longer for all our romance drama.
The show has been delayed due to the travel restrictions that remain in place which makes travelling abroad a little difficult.
Although there were rumours that it would be filmed in the UK if travel restrictions were still in place, the series has instead been pushed back in the hopes it can make it back to Mallorca bring a little bit of sunshine to our screens.
It has been reported that the show will not begin in the first week of June as per usual and instead, has been pushed back three weeks until July when restrictions will hopefully allow them to travel to Spain.
