A throuple who have been told they are going "straight to hell" has revealed how they celebrate Christmas, including who the middle spoon is, and how they tackle reactions from their family.The trio have battled countless negativity towards their unusual romance, but are unapologetic when it comes to their loving relationship.

Five years ago, partners Alana, 27, and Kevin, 33, made a drastic decision and welcomed Megan, 37, into their relationship.The trio met on the dating app 3Fun and officially became a throuple - a committed romantic relationship between three people.The throuple happily live together but admit that the festive season can bring some tricky situations as they have to tackle three sets of in-laws. "As a throuple, we sometimes face challenges with family during the holidays," Alana told What’s The Jam. "There have been misunderstandings and awkward moments from those less familiar with our relationship. "It’s definitely all eyes on us whenever we attend a festive event together.

Whether people already know about our relationship or are just meeting us for the first time, you can often feel the tension in the room." Alana added: "The funny thing is, our Christmas doesn’t actually look as different as people think.There just happens to be three of us but we celebrate just like everyone else." This year the throuple are planning to spend Christmas with a trip to the cinema before heading back home to wear matching onesies for a relaxing afternoon "snuggling".

Kevin shared: "Alana loves decorating, so she sets the scene in the house. Megan is the cook and prepares whatever fantastic meal we have.
