Manchester United fans were excited to see Amad Diallo back with a ball at his feet and suggested there could be a spot in the first-team waiting for him.
Amad hobbled off the pitch with a knee injury during the pre-season friendly against Arsenal in July, leaving the MetLife Stadium on crutches.
He has not featured for the United since, but a series of social media posts have allowed supporters to track his progress. Following an excellent loan spell in the Championship with Sunderland, the 21-year-old was hoping to break into the first-team picture under Erik ten Hag but saw his pre-season cut cruelly short.
It is hoped he could return to full training before Christmas and a promising update was posted on Tuesday.
