Tottenham sacked Antonio Conte in March and they promoted his assistant Cristian Stellini to oversee the team until the end of the campaign, but he was relieved of his duties as interim coach after just four games in charge.
Spurs are also guaranteed to go a 15th successive season without winning a trophy and will not play in the Champions League again until 2024 at the earlest.
