We are here for our readers - and we want to thank them for what they have helped us to achieve over the years. Together, we have raised more than £250,000 to save one of Greater Manchester's oldest and most important institutions - a lifeline for young people and deprived communities, Salford Lads and Girls Club.
The 121-year-old club announced in October it needed to raise the money by the end of November to remain open and our campaign, backed by many thousands of donations, large and small, did just that.
