Wayne Rooney expects his Manchester United record of 253 goals for the club to stand the test of time, because players rarely spend as long as he did at one club now.
Rooney's haul was four more than Sir Bobby Charlton managed for United and it took the England international 13 seasons to reach that total.
But with players rarely giving a decade or more of service to one club now, Rooney expects his record to be in place for a while.
Of the current squad Marcus Rashford would look the most likely to get close to Rooney's numbers, yet he remains 189 goals behind.
