Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Wayne Rooney has argued why Marcus Rashford may benefit from leaving Manchester United. Rashford has endured a difficult run of form for United this season.
The 26-year-old scored a sublime goal in the Manchester derby last Sunday to take his tally for the campaign to six goals, all of which have come in the Premier League.
It was in January that Rashford was fined and warned by the club after he was spotted in a Belfast nightclub and reported ill to training.
Manager Erik ten Hag did not select Rashford for the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Newport County, with the striker returning to the matchday squad for the 4-3 win over Wolves in the Premier League a few days later.
