Coulson's portrayal of Carol on the popular BBC soap saw her grappling with moving storylines, including battles with breast cancer and emotional turmoil.
She first made her mark on EastEnders back in 1993, took a break in 1997, made a brief return in 1999. Despite vowing in 2008 that she would 'never' return to Watford, she reprised her role in 2010 until her departure in October 2015.
