FLO’s meteoric career arc has landed them in the sights of a legend. Riding the wave of a BBC Sound of 2023 poll win and an upcoming U.S.
tour, the refreshingly retro London R&B trio of Renée Downer, Jorja Douglas, and Stella Quaresma have teamed up with hip-hop royalty from across the pond to release an instant classic. “Fly Girl,” an empowered anthem out today (March 23), features a characteristically explosive verse from the one and only Missy Elliott, as well as a tongue-in-cheek sample of her 2002 mega hit “Work It.” The new track comes with a flashy visual treatment directed by Tajana Tokyo.
