Sebadoh have come together for their first show together in five years. Check out footage and the full setlist below.The night took place at the 13th annual SMooCH concert, which has been put together to help benefit the Seattle Children’s Hospital uncompensated care fund.Held at the Showbox in Seattle on December 14, the event also made headlines as it saw surviving Soundgarden members Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron and Ben Shepherd reunite for a performance under the guise of Nudedragons – an anagram of the original name.They were also joined by Guns N’ Roses‘ Duff McKagan for their two final songs.
For Sebadoh, the gig marked their first on-stage performance together in five years, and saw them come together for a rarely seen set in a bid to raise funds for the hospital.This included breaking out renditions of songs like ‘Not Too Amused’, ‘Two Years Two Days’, ‘Beauty Of The Ride’ and more.
Founding member Lou Barlow also shared some behind-the-scenes looks at the event, which included him meeting up with Kim Thayil.“The rise of Soundgarden was exciting for us and this is a connection I was v happy to make,” he wrote in the caption.“[Then] Kim introduced me to this guy: Bubba Dupree..from VOID,” he added. “VOID were literally the fucking bomb that blew our collective minds and inspired us to put the pieces back together in our own ways, ditching the stylistic restraints of punk and making anything seem possible.
