In 2018, Savanna Darnell was living a dream shared by so many of her generation - she had been selected from thousands to be a star of ITV’s popular dating show Love Island.

Young, and bubbling with excitement at the time, Savanna, now 26, changed her whole life in anticipation. Sadly things didn’t work out quite the way she hoped.

Of course ITV have a well publicised Duty of Care to all those who take part, to ensure they're supported before, during and after filming the show, and Savanna was offered the same care as her fellow contestants.
