Apple TV+ series Severance will return for season two next year and a new teaser trailer has been shared to mark the announcement – watch it below.The new season of the Emmy award winning show, which is directed and executive produced by Ben Stiller, will arrive on January 17 2025.The new season will be 10 episodes long with episodes dropping weekly following the premiere on January 17.

Episodes will arrive every Friday until March 21.A synopsis about the show and what to expect from season two reads: “In Severance Mark Scout (Adam Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives.“This daring experiment in ‘work-life balance’ is called into question as Mark finds himself at the centre of an unravelling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and of himself.

In season two, Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe.”Season two sees the return of its ensemble cast of Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken and Patricia Arquette.
