Check it out below.The Oscar-winning actress hosted the show on Saturday (March 29) alongside musical guest, country singer Morgan Wallen.During the episode, she teamed up with comedy group Please Don’t Destroy for a dramatised take on Spongebob Squarepants.It saw Madison attend her SNL writer’s meeting dressed as Squidward, brainstorming a live-action TV adaptation of the iconic Nickelodeon show that insisted was really about “a friend group navigating life in their early 20s.”The group of writers – comprised of comedians Martin Herlihy, John Higgins and Ben Marshall – were less than convinced, arguing it’s more about “a funny sponge”, and that developing a TV show would take “three years”.The sketch then cut to the future to reveal that they had spent years on the project, culminating in an HBO-style adaptation that saw Madison’s Squidward romantically involved with Spongebob having uncomfortable conversations about money.
Another plotline saw Mr. Krabs discover that his daughter Pearl was pregnant, and meanwhile Patrick was diagnosed with a mystery health condition.
