In the film, LaKeith Stanfield plays FBI informant William O’Neal, a petty thief who fed information that led to the death of Black Panther leader Fred Hampton, played by Daniel Kaluuya, in exchange for his freedom. The film also stars Jesse Plemons, Dominique Fishback, Ashton Sanders, and Martin Sheen.
