Kelly Clarkson and Miranda Lambert have covered Chappell Roan’s ‘Good Luck, Babe!’ together – watch the video below.The two singers performed “a duet of one of their favourite songs” on a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.“I love Chappell,” Clarkson told Lambert. “This last album [‘The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess’] specifically is what turned me on to her.
It’s so good.” Lambert agreed: “It’s so good. My brother and his husband were like, ‘You have to hear this!'”The latter went on to say she has since become “obsessed” with Roan, adding that she was disappointed that the pair didn’t get to meet at the MTV VMAs this month. “I love anything authentic,” Lambert explained. “It’s so cool.”Later, Clarkson praised Roan’s “insane” vocals as well as her “funny” and “clever” lyrics – which she compared to those of Lambert’s.Following the interview, the two singers performed a stripped-back acoustic cover of Roan’s hit single ‘Good Luck, Babe!’. “It’s such a good song!” Clarkson said at the end of the outing.
