Six-year-old Adam King stole the hearts of the nation when he appeared on the Late Late Toy Show last night. The young boy, who has brittle bones and uses a wheelchair, melted audiences around the country with his gentle heart and kind soul.
Adam, who dreams of working with NASA, told Ryan Tubridy how he hopes to one day become ‘CAPCOM in NASA.’ ‘It’s captain in ground control,’ he explained.
Quizzed if perhaps he might have an interest in being an astronaut, the Cork boy gently explained: ‘I can’t be an astronaut because I have brittle bones.’ Demonstrating how great he would be in the role, Adam took part in an official countdown for host Ryan who ‘took off’ in a cardboard rocket in the Toy Show studio.
