Warning message issued to anybody who uses Ebay in the UK

From May 31 the rules are changing, and they will mean that fees and expenses will be deducted at the point of sale. Fees and expenses are currently deducted via a monthly billing statement.

The remaining balance will then be transferred directly to your bank account – not your PayPal – eBay said. It means that while buyers will have more options in addition to Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal – sellers will only be able to claim their earnings via a bank transfer.
