Warning after dog walker finds chicken with shard of glass 'intentionally' pushed inside - a pet 'could have been killed'

The sinister discovery was made on Cribden Hill in Rossendale on Tuesday (April 6). Rossendale Responsible Animal Rescue said one of its volunteers was out walking her two French bulldogs when one of them picked up a piece of chicken.
Due to his allergies, the owner immediately took it off him. To her horror, she found a shard of glass inside the food. It is believed it was placed there deliberately to ‘fatally’ injure an animal.
