Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group is making sure the producer of the studio’s highest grossing movie of all-time, Barbie, isn’t going anywhere.
Studio Bosses Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy have closed a multi-year first look feature film deal with LuckyChap’s Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara on future projects.
The news follows the $1.45 billion global grossing Barbie notching eight Oscar nominations, as well as Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media Grammy Wins for Billie Eilish and Finneas’ single “What Was I Made For?”; in addition to two Golden Globe wins.
