A man from Rochdale is among seven suspects who have been charged as part of an ongoing police investigation into the supply of drugs in East Lancashire.
Raids were carried out yesterday (Wednesday) in both Rochdale and Rossendale as part of the probe by Lancashire Police and arrested nine people aged between 27 and 57.
In an update issued today (Thursday) officers confirmed seven of those arrested have been charged and were due to appear at Blackburn Magistrates' Court this morning. As well as the seven people charged, a woman aged 27 from Bacup and a man aged 57 from Bacup have been released under investigation while enquiries continue, Lancs Live reports.
