The Weeknd‘s new album Hurry Up Tomorrow has arrived and it opens with the song “Wake Me Up.” The song seemingly interpolates the Michael Jackson hit “Thriller” as there are some similar synth sounds in the track. The Weeknd sings in the chorus, “Wake me up, come find me / It feels like I’m dying / Wake me up, these demons / Keep creeping, don’t fear ‘em / Wake me up.” Hurry Up Tomorrow is the final and most personal chapter of The Weeknd‘s trilogy series that began with 2020′s After Hours and 2022′s Dawn FM. The Weeknd will star in an upcoming feature film inspired by his new album.
