Waitrose introduces free coffee, and you don't even need to buy anything

My Waitrose loyalty scheme members will soon be able to grab free coffee without even purchasing anything from the store. From 27 January, Waitrose is changing its free coffee scheme to mean that loyalty scheme members can get one free hot drink each day, even if they don't buy anything from the shop.

Members will be able to get a regular americano, cappuccino, latte or tea for free at stand-alone Waitrose and Little Waitrose stores, however you should bring your own reusable cup as cups will only be provided "in some cases" subject to availability.

And you don't have to be an existing My Waitrose member to benefit from the free hot drinks offer. Members who are newly joined will also be able to grab a free coffee each day.

You can join the My Waitrose scheme online for free and you will receive a digital card instantly. You can apply for a physical card after three days of joining.
